Ab dem 1.Mai 2020 wird es möglich sein, ein Sozialdarlehen in Höhe von maximal 1000€ zu beantragen. Diese Erhöhung gilt bis zum 31.12.2020 und soll Studierenden in finanziellen Notlagen, insbesondere durch das Coronavirus zu Hilfe kommen.
Außerhalb von durch Corona geprägte Zeiten wurde das Sozialdarlehen auf maximal 800€ erhöht, um sich den in den letzten Jahren stark gestiegenen Kosten der Lebenshaltung und studienrelevanten Faktoren anzupassen.

As per decision of yesterday, the AStA social loan is increased to 1000€ because of the Corona crisis. The amount is heightened to allow students, who lost their jobs due to the pandemic, to help relieve their financial losses in order to support a successful semester. This regularization will be in force from the first of May 2020 until the end of the year.
Other than that, the ordinary social loan is permanently increased to 800€ max. to support the increasing costs of living.
